PANG - PERFORMATIVE ARTS FOR THE NEXT GENERATION

"Viagem Indiferente" is a play inspired by José Saramago's "the tale of the unknown island" and is a metaphor used to represent the human being's search for what is new, in the face of obstacles and marked by the uncertainty and impermanence of things themselves. Based on this symbolism, the In(di)ferent Company has defined a collective creation, "which focuses on the importance of the body, gesture, sound, movement and the visual arts, crossing theater with dance, music, the visual arts and interactive media, in a practice of disciplinary crossing, valuing and exploring their aesthetics".

Companhia Indiferente is an inclusive artistic structure - by Glocalmusic - made up of disabled and non-disabled artists, which aims to develop research work and actively intervene in the national cultural and artistic fabric.

This project is supported by DGARTES through the Partnership Support Program - Art Without Limits, which resulted from a Partnership Agreement with Associação Acesso Cultura with the aim of fostering diversity in the national artistic scene and encouraging the emergence of projects led by artists with disabilities and/or S/deaf.
